WHAT IS A HORROR ESCAPE ROOM?
When you visit ‘Hell In A Cellar’ or ‘The Execution’ you are entering into a disturbing reality…
You have been kidnapped by the deranged serial killer PigFace… He is a disturbed, simple deviant with a harrowing distaste for the outside world. He has used the skin of previous victims to sculpt a mask that he wears.
You’ve been incapacitated and imprisoned in the terrifying underground cellar he lives in. We suggest you work out how to escape before he comes back for you…
In the not too distant future, where you have been found guilty of a petty crime and sentenced to death…
In this twisted future, you get one last chance! If you prove yourself and manage to engineer your escape before time runs out, you will live to see another day…
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
Due to the nature of Hell In A Cellar and The Execution, we recommend that escape room players are over 14. If you are 12 or over and feel brave, we will allow you to participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please contact us for more details.
CAN WE HAVE MORE THAN 10 PLAYERS?
We can take more players (we’ve had 15 play before and love it), but we’re keen to not dilute the escape room experience.
Please call us on 0117 366 1727 if there are more than 10 of you that want to experience Hell In A Cell.
CAN WE HAVE A FEW DRINKS BEFORE?
We will not allow anyone to enter the escape room if drunk or high. If you arrive intoxicated, you will not be allowed to participate and will not be refunded.
It’s dark down there and can be disorientating. Being drunk or intoxicated on drink and/or drugs does not mix well with the environment and is strictly prohibited.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE ESCAPE?
Then you are still alive, good for you…
Maybe you will appreciate life a bit more now!
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T ESCAPE?
We suggest you let your friends, family, and work colleagues know where you’re going so that they can make the necessary arrangements, just in case you don’t escape…
DO YOU HAVE A REFUND POLICY?
Yes, we have a refund policy. All bookings are final and we do not offer refunds if you wish to cancel.
However, should the unexpected happen you are welcome to transfer your tickets to others for your time slot.
WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE ESCAPE ROOM?
If you don’t like the escape room experience, you’re lucky as it isn’t for real…
If you can’t handle EITHER of the experiences at ANY point you will be able to communicate immediately with a member of staff and leave the escape room.
Your friends should be able to stay, but you won’t be able to return to the escape room.

IS HELL IN A CELLAR SCARY?
Yes, these are the scariest horror escape rooms in Bristol! If not the country!
You will be entering the set of a horror escape film. The environment is intimidating, tense, and deliberately dramatic.
Think about the movies Saw, Hostel, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets the Crystal Maze! (but remember, it’s not real)
CAN I PLAY WITH A MEDICAL CONDITION?
As we are not medically trained we can not answer a specific question related to your condition. However, please bear in mind that the escape rooms are not real and our staff will not touch you.
Regrettably, our escape rooms do not have wheelchair access.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Not your Sunday Best…
Loose fitting, relaxed fit clothes are best for ease of movement. It’s a bit grubby down there, so you may get a little dirty or dusty, but don’t worry you will not be covered in gunge or anything sinister.
WHAT TIME DO WE NEED TO ARRIVE?
Plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before your escape game starts to allow for any delays you may incur.
Say you book for 6pm, our Event Manager will be there at promptly at 6pm, ready to deliver the briefing.
We operate a slick operation and are strict on time keeping.
CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS?
You will have plenty of opportunity at the beginning and end of the experience to take some great photos, but not whilst in the escape game environment.
WILL YOU WAIT FOR ME IF I AM RUNNING LATE?
We are very sorry, but No…
We have a schedule to stick to and if we over-ran, we’d then have to push back the next game. (If there’s no one booked in after then possibly).
We cannot allow you to enter the experience midway, as it would disrupt those already involved.
No refunds will be offered to latecomers or no shows.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
To get the best out of your escape game experience, immerse yourself. Allow yourself to believe in where you are, what is going to happen and what you need to do to escape.
Remember this is a ‘Horror Escape Room Experience’, we are not here to terrify you into a quivering wreck. It will be tense, jumpy and exhilarating at times, but you will leave with big smiles and lots to talk about after.
