Welcome to Escape Rooms Bristol

Escape Rooms Bristol hosts a series of unique escape rooms where you star in and play out your own horror movie scene.

It all started with the first chapter Hell In A Cell, set in a 19th-century prison cell in the dark eerie depths of Bristol’s Old Crown Courts. In the original horror escape room, you were kidnapped and taken prisoner by a sadistic serial killer known as Pig Face.

Based in a fantastic new location in Bristol, we are pleased to announce three new escape rooms; Hell In A Cellar, The Execution, and The Ward.

Prepare yourself, mentally and physically, for a truly horrifying escape from reality.

Are you ready for the ultimate horror escape rooms in Bristol?

Hell In A Cellar Escape Rooms Bristol

Hell In A Cellar

After five years of cat and mouse with the police, Pig Face’s world collapsed. His lair was discovered, forcing him to leave. Sick of living in the sewer, Pig Face started his search for a new home. He had almost given up hope! But then, he stumbled across the disused cellar of the old bombed-out Hippodrome theater…

Pig Face’s desire to possess his victim’s skin leads him to build a new, even more twisted escape game. Ready to unleash this next chapter on the world, Pig Face is back up to his old tricks.

Locked underground in a dark and eerie cellar, you will be given one chance to see if you’re worthy of escape, with new twists and puzzles to solve.

Welcome to Hell In A Cellar.

The Execution - Escape Rooms Bristol

The Execution

As Pig Face settles in, he continues to explore his new home in the Hippodrome basement. He finds a locked area with the occasional acrid smell of burning flesh! It reminds him of darker days in the slaughterhouse sewers and cesspit, so he steers well clear.

Little does Pig Face know that this is a portal to another dimension and a dystopian future, where even the pettiest of crimes are sentenced to death! And as luck would have it, the portal leads straight into the execution chamber.

In this twisted future, do you stand a chance? Can you beat the clock to stop the execution? Have you got what it takes to escape?

Welcome to The Execution

The Ward Escape Game

The Ward

You open your eyes to discover you are in ‘The Ward’.

The last thing you remember was walking along the road with your friends…

There was a funny smell, then everything went black!

You have been kidnapped by ‘The Doctor’ who has taken over the local hospital. Fast running out of patients, The Doctor kidnaps new test subjects for his twisted experiments.

You will need to work as a team to figure out how to escape before The Doctor comes back for you.

Can you escape before treatment?

Welcome to ‘The Ward‘.

WHAT IS A HORROR ESCAPE ROOM?

When you visit ‘Hell In A Cellar‘ or ‘The Execution‘ you are entering into a disturbing reality…

Hell In A Cellar

You have been kidnapped by the deranged serial killer PigFace… He is a disturbed, simple deviant with a harrowing distaste for the outside world. He has used the skin of previous victims to sculpt a mask that he wears.

You’ve been incapacitated and imprisoned in the terrifying underground cellar he lives in. We suggest you work out how to escape before he comes back for you…

The Execution

Set in the not too distant future, you have been found guilty of a petty crime and sentenced to death in an electric chair.

In this twisted future, you get one last chance to escape! If you prove yourself and manage to engineer your escape before time runs out, you will live to see another day…

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

Due to the nature of Hell In A Cellar and The Execution, we recommend that escape room players are over 14.

If you are 12 or over and feel brave, we will allow you to participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please contact us for more details.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE ESCAPE ROOM?

If you don’t like the escape room experience, you’re lucky as it isn’t for real…

If you can’t handle EITHER of the experiences at ANY point you will be able to communicate immediately with a member of staff and leave the escape room.

Your friends should be able to stay, but you won’t be able to return to the escape room.

IS HELL IN A CELLAR SCARY?

Yes, these are the scariest horror escape rooms in Bristol! If not the country!

You will be entering the set of a horror escape film. The environment is intimidating, tense, and deliberately dramatic.

Think about the movies Saw, Hostel, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets the Crystal Maze! (but remember, it’s not real)

CAN I PLAY WITH A MEDICAL CONDITION?

As we are not medically trained we can not answer a specific question related to your condition. However, please bear in mind that the escape rooms are not real and our staff will not touch you.

Regrettably, our escape rooms do not have wheelchair access.

See our Escape Room FAQs page for more information before visiting Escape Rooms Bristol.
